I had my nose pierced for a week now, i was wondering if this is normal.?

Okay, so i had my nose pierced a week ago almost 2weeks now and its a little dark around the nose ring, i was wondering is that normal ? Also, I noticed that when i clean my nose ring it feels like its stuck in my nose is that also normal?

most likely you are allergic to the metal they put in your nose that's what happened to both my cousins when i got their nose pierced you'll need to go to a mall or jewlrey place (but you'd have to do it quickly or your hole could close up in a matter of moments) and ask for a 14k gold s***w or ring.

it's best not to touch your nose ring this soon

nose rings heal in 6-9 weeks so any irritation towards the area is not good

all piercings need time to set in the skin so the feeling of it being stuck is quite normal so dont try and move it unless you notice the jewlery starting to sink into the skin this is a sign that your body may be rejecting the jewlery and trying to grow over it

as for the darkness around the ring.....well lets just say it's never smart to do home piercings unless u are using starilized tools and the piercing is being done by someone who is trained in the art

i myself have 15 piercings including the nose so my advice to you is to watch for the three signs of an infection

1) the area is red and radiating heat

2) excessive bleeding and/or puss like substances leaking from the piercing

3) excessive sensitivity or pain

the best thing you can do right now is clean it

NOTE AT NO TIMES SHOULD YOU CLEAN YOUR PIERCING WITH SOPE!!! the best thing you can use is a substance called salene solution or lens plus which should be applied with a Q-tip NEVER WITH YOUR FINGERS NO MATTER HOW CLEAN YOU THINK THEY ARE!

but if you see any signs of infection you should go to a perfessional and get help from them

hey i had my nose pierced about 2 years ago and i just recently took it out. i never had a dark ring around the nose ring but i slowly i started receiving a bump on the outside of my nose where the piercing was, most people get a bump in the inside or outside of their nose where the piercing is,... so the discoloring might just just be the forming of the bump and that might also be the reason your ring feels stuck to your nose becuz a bump is forming and becuz of the shape of the nose rings an inside bump will force the ring to get tighter and tighter to your nose.. some peoples bumpers so big it pulls the stud of the nose ring threw the inside of their nose... so its very important to watch the bumps.... you can buy BACTINE and apply to the inside and outside of your nose ring area and it will get rid of the bump (after o2 weeks my bump was totally gone)..  so that the most common problem with nose rings and your probably just forming an inside bump which is causing it to feel stuck and the bump is pulling your stud threw your skin causing it to bruise

Don't touch the nose ring....let it heal, so try to not handle it at all and don't take it out...mine got infected and I never took it out...but I had to resist the urge to touch the ring.....I also used sea salt mixed with hot water compresses on the nose....get some tea tree oil and apply this to the nose ring at least 3 times a day...

I did this and after a couple of weeks my nose healed....but don't touch..every time you move the stud you break the new growth or the healing that is taking place
