The phone was originally T-Mobile-only and the sim card I put in after having it unlocked is an Orange sim. In the menu, there's an option called "T-Zones." I guess that's where "Orange World" should have been (if the phone was originally Orange).

I think I can manually set up my WAP/GPRS, but I don't know how.

I know where to go, but I don't know what to put in the boxes that say "Proxy IP", "Proxy Port", "APN", "Login ID" and "Password"

If someone knows what should be typed in those boxes for an Orange pay monthly sim it would be really terrific... thank you.

  1. go to the orange website and you will find the mms and wap settings for both contract phones and payg.

  2. I don't think you can, the proxy settings would be preset on the T-mobile sim card and you automatically login with Orange World, so I wouldn't think the protocol will be the same with a phone configured to T-Zones.

You have to remember T-Mobile paid the manufacturer of your phone to lock it to them, so the less tricks that work with another companies sim the happier they are.
