I had my wisdom teeth out 36 hours ago and i smoked a cig with very little sucking, no blood or pain afterward

so do you think i am clear from getting a dry socket or infection

umm well, i'm only 17 and i got my wisdome teeth removed like 3 weeks ago . the dr told to stay away frm anything poisonouse like even coffee so i think smoking is pretty much gonna cause a problem and it may even ruin the stiches.

Noooo. Just don't do it. It will put you at a higher risk of developing a dry socket.

I always smoked after extractions -- very gingerly! -- and never got either. But of course there are no guarantees.
