  1. you need to take your Doctor opinion,

    Ramadan Kareem wa Allah Akram

  2. You should really talk to your doctor about this. Because it all depends on what condition you are in now.

  3. if your in good health now and your doctor gives you the thumbs up then its ok

but if you sit it out or any day of it you'll have to make up for it b4 the next ramadan, and if u cant u have to give out money to the poor people.

  4. I will guess that you should not fast during Ramadan based on your recent surgery.  But a better idea for you is to ask your surgeon.

    Good luck.

  5. Sorry to say, but you had open heart surgery 7 days ago, and you're sitting and asking questions on yahoo.

    Are you sure?

SORRY!!! Either I misread the question or you changed the title! Sorry!! Didn't mean to sound cruel!

    You shouldn't fast

  6. you have to ask your doctor he knows your condition better than anyone here

  7. Allah ya salamak

but maybe that is something u should ask ur doctore......if it doesnt affect ur health that is  fine......

But allah will forgive...and u can make it up when u r well enough

    Feel better inshallah

  8. none of us are scholars here.  therefore if we say it is okay to leave out fasting, we might be sinning by leading you the wrong path.  also, if we say you must fast, we may lead you to bad consiquences in your health.

for your health you have to ask your physician the possibility of your fasting the whole month or parts of the month and its consiquences etc.

for your religious obligation, you have to ask a scholar for specific ruling for your specific situation.

You can fully describe your situation and ask the scholars at the following link and inshallah get it answered live on paltalk on sunday at 2:00pm EST.

Ajlân narrated that Abû Hurayra used to say: "Verily, I am reporting narrations today which if one has open heart surgery, one must not fast for 15 years post surgeryt\."10

  10. You have to be cleared by your cardiologist.  If s/he says you are healed and well enough to fast, then you must, as a Muslim.

  11. I personally think you should sit this one out. it might be dangerous for you bout ask your doctor.

  12. the doctor is the one who is capable of telling u that..

ask him if fasting would hurt ur heart,if it does, then dnt...and fast them other time of the year

  13. You aren't going to get a truthful answer here.Ask your doctor because you will surely get a better answer from him.
