I had oral surgery last week and they put a bracket/gold chain on one of my hidden teeth...

Question

He stitched the chain to my gum I believe, however, the chain is now hanging loose... Should I be concerned?

I called my dentist and my orthodontist for advice and they couldn't really help.

My oral surgeon is coming back tonight from vacation and he will be available for visits and I'm planning on visiting, but I just want to know if this is really bad...

Yes phone your dr asap, its not bad, but teh chain should not hang around as it can come off, it so, then you need a 2nd round of surgery
