In both my dreams I was swimming. In the first one it's a swimming party a really hot gut starts hitting on me but i tell him i have a boyfriend. Then suddenly everyone disappears and he tries to rape me. Then my big brother (that doesn't excite in real life) jumps in and saves me. In the seconds dream I'm was already all alone. Then a man who is old enough to be my father starts saying a made-up language and cames after me. Then a guy in a camp director uniform gets him off of me and tries to comfort me but I run away. I had them both on the same night and don't know what they mean. It's really creeping me out because rape is my worst fear. Anyone have a clue?

  1. it probably has something to do with it being your worst fear. almost like if you were afraid of sharks you would most likely have a scary dream where you were attacked by a shark. nightmares are an outlet into your subconscious, since you already know you are afraid of rape, it doesn't seem likely that it is a prophetic dream. so i don't think there is any need to worry.

  2. I think you just answered your own question.Dreams help us work through our fears and problems.Every time you were alone or talked to a guy you were attacked. You will probably work through it in time. But you don't have to fear getting close to a guy.Just use common sense and don't put yourself in dangerous situations.

  3. DONT FREAK OUT! heres what i think

1: your gonna get raped soon

2:your just reminding yourself to stay away from that trubble.

    3:your imagination in running wild!

  4. Only you can interpret the mess of ideas that goes into your own dreams. I feel our dreams reflect not only random information collected during the day that we may be thinking about, but our deeper thoughts as well, our subconcious ones, and our fears. I feel the strongest message that can be pulled frm this is simply your fear of rape, as you say it is your greatest

  5. haha don't worry hun because its your worst fears you are dreaming about it don't worry but be careful a bit

by the way have you seen a crime show before you slept cause it happens to me all the time

  6. Lay off the drugs....

  7. Sounds like a man in your life did something to make you uncomfortable and that you would like your older brother to help you but you dont know how ~ and whatever this other person did to make you worry or feel unsafe remains unresolved in your mind, so in your dream you tossed it around to another unsafe feeling trying to resolve it while you slept.

Can you talk with your brother about what is bothering and concerning you?

  8. The dreams suggest that your are currently experiencing a number of fears of men in your waking life.   I wonder if there is any past experiences that would relate to being abused.    Each dream has you being attacked by a man but then rescued by another man.   One guy is young and one is old.  This might suggests your fears about current relationships but then this fear might be fueled by something that happened to you by an older man when you were a child.   One can not say for sure.

If these fears are adversely effecting your life you might want to talk to a profession counselor about them.   It is difficult to make any further interpretations because all dreams are individual pertaining to the person who dream them.

Let me know if this helps.

  9. swimming party = social life

the guy tried to rape you  = fear, feeling left out, attention seeking

big brother (unreal one) tried to save you = seeking for support

old man came after you = feeling helpless

camp director tried to comfort you but you ran away = insecurity, paranoid

This dream is about your social life.  You are feeling left out, unrecognized in many aspects of your life.  Projecting someone trying to rape you or going after you symbolizes the insecure sense in you.  You are feeling the need of acceptance by others but you have some sort of non-trust to people.

Rape may be your biggest fear, but in dream, due to insecurity, you are feeling lack of trust to people around you and that is why you have this recurring dream.

  10. To dream that you have been raped, suggests a sadistic expression of sexual desire. You may be expressing an unconscious desire to be violated, conquered, or forced into forbidden territory. It also indicates vengeful feelings toward the opposite s*x. Alternatively, it suggests that you are feeling violated in some way. Something or someone is jeopardizing your self-esteem and emotional well-being. Dreams of rape are also common for those who were actually raped in their waking life.

To see a rape being committed in your dream, denotes sexual dysfunction or uncertainty.

Deep down you are terrified and worry in the back of your head of getting raped.

    I hope I helped you.

It could also mean that you are missing your security blanket, like for instance, a brother. You need to be saved, and that's probably why you saw a brother in your dream that you don't even have.
