I had protected s*x and now my period is ten days late, what are my chances of being pregnant?

im sixteen and my periods arent always regular. ive been under extreme stress because a lot of family problems are happening and problems with my boyfriends family as well. i had s*x with my boyfriend and its been going on for awhile, it was protected and now im not getting my period. the condoms didnt rip or leak, could it maybe have come out of the top of the condom or something? im really freaked out and dont want to take a pregnancy test, ive been getting cramps so i might get my period and sometimes my period will switch from the beginning of the month to the end in the summer so maybe tha os happening

the probelm is you need to be pataeint wait till the end of the month to know if you are prego or not if you are then you should be freaked if your not then relax and stop having s*x

Condoms usually work about like 78% of the time I think..maybe more. But  I mean ANY time you have s*x there is the possibility you can be pregnant, but i doubut it. I mean the stress might have caused you to not even ovulate so I really doubt that you are pregnant, but to be on the safe side you really should take a pregnancy test. Just to be safe.

that first person is a jerk. it COULD be possible. but since you know you're under stress and you know your periods aren't regular then there's an even bigger chance that your not. especially since you had protected s*x. props on that btw!

Well there's always that one % chance of it, but you said your stressed which always can effect that! Even worrying if your pregnant can slow down your cycle, weight gain & weight loss can all effect that too! And i know what you mean about being freaked out to take a test cause to see a positive would be scary but you kind of have too! you can be late from stress. but there's always a chance. take a test, even if you don't want to.

The chances ARE likely, because nothing is 100% effective.

but rather - uncommon. I wouldn't say rare, because it does happen.

But if you are stressing about it and thinking about it alot, then I will

almost guarantee you that it's stress. This kind of thing has happened to me a few times, but it ended up being stress. Calm your nerves, if you want take a test, and be calm. It'll come within time.

...don't listen to that person...i doubt you're pregnant you had protected s*x...so the chances are slim...stress can make your period late...and when your a teen your periods aren't regular
