Those emails are scams.  Stay away!  Especially if you have never signed up for a drawing.  Yahoo says:  Advance fee fraud scams, including Nigerian “419” scams, promise to share riches in exchange for loans to help cover some sort of upfront cost, such as bank fees, or in some cases, ransoms for “kidnapped” millionaires. If you receive one of these emails, mark it as spam, including any messages that originate from a yahoo.com email address. These emails are usually sent in bulk, and are rarely targeted at a specific individual. Yahoo cannot investigate these scams—reporting these emails as spam is the most effective measure you can take as it will help ensure additional copies are not delivered.

First, I can almost guarantee you it's some kind of spam or the email says that your eligible to win 300,000,00. If you actually won that much money, someone would call you or show up at your house. Also if you don't remember entering a contest or lottery draw, then that's a good indicator it's not legit.

You can also copy a line of text from the email and put it in google. If it's a scam/ spam there's a good chance that someone else got the email too and are wondering the same thing as you.
