I used to get red dots, not many, like on my chest. It looks like someone poked me with a pin and the hole filled with blood, but never dried blood, it was red. like red pen marks. I started taking Flaxseed, C, lysine, and fishoil and i noticed they dont appear anymore. I was wondering, what were they?

  1. I have no idea but I do know what you're talking about. I have them on my arms.

  2. Hmmm yes I know what you mean too, but I dont know. They look rather.. not too nice.

  3. "A couple of things come to mind when you mention small red spots on the skin. They could be Campbell de Morgan spots which are clumps of tiny blood vessels just under the skin or petechiae which are pin-point red spots from blood vessels. By themselves both are harmless. However, if they are accompanied by bruising, fatigue, Nausea they could be signs of a more serious disease. It is normal to develop these tiny red spots in greater numbers as we grow older and that is just part of the aging process. Be sure to see the doctor though if you have any other symptoms accompanying them."

I doubt yours is a serious problem. I get them too, and it hasn't killed me yet. Just signs of aging I guess.
