one is bad doc.said, to have it done thats was few yr.ago . I live with pain what would happen if I keep putting it off?

I don't work & I try not to over do it. I had to many surgerys in my life.

Without looking at an MRI this is difficult to say.  First, Muscle once torn does not regrow.  Second, If it is a partial tear one risk that you are taking is if it tears worse and "retracts" then you may not have to option to do the surgery you would have to use a graft (pig, synthetic, etc) and your outcome would not be the best.  If you are too retracted to do any surgery you would have to live with the loss of function.  What I urge you to evaluate is one how does it affect your life currently, and would you be willing to lose some range of motion should things get worse.  You can live without it, but many people don't want to live without the function.  Physical therapy will be instrumental after the surgery to make sure you take full advantage of the surgery.
