  2. yes, cupping is basically applying vacuum pressure to the skin, it draws blood to the surface where it leaks out of the capillaries and causes bruising.

    There are no therapeutic benefits to cupping.

  4. So you visited someone who decided that a technique that pre-dates George Washington would be an ideal treament?  Did this person also purge you with Calomel and bleed you too?  

    Cupping that did not raise blisters that can be popped and drained of fluid was considered a failure.  Therefore, either you're lying about cupping or your "therapist" didn't know what the f*ck he/she was doing.  I suspect the former...
