I had something like an allergy(red patches on palms, ears chest etc.) and difficulty swallowing first. Doctor gave allegra and prednisolon and it took two months to be okay. Gradually I couldn't eat anything even swallow water every three days or so. (It would be less paining for two days and coming back full next two days.)

Next doctor identified it as GIRD and gave medicine. But by the time he did endoscopy the swelling inside had gone. He didn't see the swelling. Now I have both difficulty swallowing and red patches on palms, arms, behind ears etc. The doctor looked confused(pardon me, my respect to him) and gave some medicine for gastritis and allergy both, so he said, and yet no good. Now it's exactly 6 months since all these started. I feel that there is something different. Can anyone please help me? Or at least name a specialist for this? Thank you.

  1. the specialist you need:allergist or immunologist

you may have some autoimmune illness, and you are not allergic to any substance?your immune system can attack certain parts of the body:this is treated with prednisone/prednisolone(long term)

You must see a specialist, it seems serious.
