I had an endometrial biopsy and the results showed up without any abnormalities. I had been having painful periods since I started my period 4 years ago. The doctor put me on the pill, and it never got much better. I began bleeding for up to 20 days at a time. After the surgery I had so much pain and was laid up for weeks. The results showed a bunch of strange liquid behind my uterus (the liquid showed no abnormalities) I was supposed to start my period this month but I'm 2 weeks late but am not pregnant (I took 3 tests to make sure) What could be the reason?? Could the liquid supposed to be there? Could something have gone wrong in surgery that would affect me like this?

  1. possibly.  i would definately ask your doctor or obgyn or whatever, but my guess is that if it was just a little bit late and you got stressed out about it, the stress could have delayed it further.  don't worry too much about it, just make an appointment with your doctor

  2. Go to your ob asap!
