  1. I'm so sorry that happened to you. Yes, it is scary. I've had a gun pulled on me two times. Both times very scary.....it took me many years to get over the fear I had of other people....people just walking by, people driving by, people at my door.  I suffered panic attacks for years, and slept with my light on for about a year. It's a hard thing to get through. I don't know how old you are, but I suggest talking to your parents (especially if you are under 18). You may find comfort in taking a self defense class. I found comfort in Jesus Christ.....after I asked Him into my life, the fear started to go away. It is a process, though and it takes time. You may want to talk to your pastor or a shrink. Try reading the Bible, I think you will find some peace there. You may also feel better if you carry pepper spray with you. Also, go easy on yourself and if you freak out in public, it's ok. I was in a parking lot once and this guy started to approach me asking for the time....there was just something about it that wasn't right and I just started shouting "no! and get away from me." He ran away, and I have no idea wether or not he really just wanted the time....but I figure better safe than sorry and if he's a decent person, then he would be understanding. Follow your gut, and look people in the eye when you're out and about. You'll get through this.

  2. Where are you exactly? Here, it's not night yet :) :)

So sorry, just wanted to point that out. If you really need to talk to somebody about it, talk with your friends. A counsler can and will help/ talk to you if you want to. Perhaps your friends can go to. Be happy that everybody is safe (at least, I hope). By talking to somebody, you won't feel the need to be looking over your shoulder the rest of your life. Best of luck, and it's great that your safe!

P.S- I read the answer above me, take their advice!
