I had this dream about my boyfriend, what could it mean??

ENTIRE DREAM: We were at this party with all of our friends on this dock on the beach. the weather started to pick up and the waves were getting a bit rough. just as people began to leave i fell off the dock and the current was to strong and pulled me under. Then my boyfriend [of ten mo's] jumped in after me, but he to was taken under with the current. somehow i managed to swim back to shore but by then they had given up looking for us. i ran to the nearest house and knocked on the door and my bf's grandpa answered the door i was in hysterics and yelling and crying, and asking him if my boyfriend was ok. he said they never found him and tht it was likely he was dead. and i just waited on his porch with him for three days in silence and then i knew my bf was dead and cried really hard. Then i woke up, crying.
