I am on coumidan for a blood clotting problem. The seizures came out of no where. I have never had one before. My head has not stopped hurting since the last one and seems to be getting worse.

  1. There are several possibilities for what could be causing this such as something like a cyst (an example only) but I would recommend asking your doctor about an MRI because it can show a problem from a different angle if it's there by checking the soft tissues around the brain.  Another thing they can do is to do an EEG (electroencephalogram).  This is done to check the electrical activity of the brain to see if that gives a clue as to what is causing the seizures.

If your doctor can't ask for a consultation with a neurologist (a doctor that diagnoses and treats diseases and disorders of the nervous system such as the brain).
