I had to issue a refund on Paypal, will eBay refund final value fee they charged me?

I had to issue a refund on an item I sold on eBay. The buyer used Paypal, I went to the transaction and clicked the "Issue Refund" button.

How can I get my refund from the final value fee that eBay charged me? Is there a way to not have to pay it? (It was a decent amount)

I am sorry to tell you this, but ebay does not refund you the final value fee. You will need to eat the cost.
