I had to pay an extra $119.00 for baggage at check in!!! WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS?

I flew with De!ta airlines last week. The day before my flight I saw a notice posted about new restrictions and when I called they said they had changed the number of peices that can be checked.

I had 1 carry on, 1 purse, 1 checked piece of luggage.

My checked piece was overweight I asked the woman if I could move heavy items to my carry on. She said it wouldn't help me because the heavy items were liquids and I was not allowed to carry them on board. So I grudgedly paid the $119 for the extra weight.

When I got to Miami to catch my second flight to Atlanta (stop number 2) they asked me for another $100 and said that my bag was only ticketted to Miami. I was furious. But she told me I could check my carry on also and put the heavier items in it.

When I requested a refund from De!ta they refused.

Here are the facts:

My total luggage weighed the same for all 3 flights that trip

I had 3 peices for all 3 flights that trip

Do you think they are just out to make money?
