I had to write a poem for school, is this alright?

I'm using four letter words like poet and poem

that can be defined by pretentious defontions

given by yuppie children.

I hate art.

I hate the title.

I could declare dirt as artwork and maybe someone would buy it.

If you really want to do something cool why not look up on how to use rhyme for some of the words that you chose.  And try to read something on the rhythm or any language be it written or spoken.  Once you understand about these too very neat instruments in creating poems you will be able to write stuff that is nice to read and that gives you a feeling.  I'm sorry but what you have written seems like any old four sentences hooked together as though you were talking to a friend about something that you don't like.  Good poetry written about anything should make you say, after reading it, wow!  Please try again - I think that you can do much better.  Good Luck.
