I had un protected s*x and i took plan b six days after will it work?

Me and my boyfriend had unprotected s*x last sunday and i got the plan b pill on saturday, tomorrow morning im going to get birth control from planned parenthood i just want to know if im pregnant or not and my period is in a week or so, its hard to track cuz it changes every month. i just want to know if i am or not cuz i dont want to be,

People like you make me angry! I have PCOS and i am struggling to get pregnant! I am married have been for 4 years and still no little feet running around. There are alot of people who would love to be in your position. If you do not want to bring children into this world use protection because on the other hand there are already enough neglected unwanted children in this world!

No, it's only effective for up to 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected s*x, if you dont want a baby then use protection!

Well, it's called the "morning after pill" for a reason.....

Plan B is only effective less than 72 hours after unprotected s*x.  So you may be pregnant.  If you take a pregnancy test 3 weeks after you had unprotected s*x and it's negative, you're in the safe zone, you're not pregnant.  A test any time prior to that could give you a false negative (ie sperm can live up to 7 days, it takes 14 days after ovulation to have a 99% accurate pregnancy test.

Did you not read the directions?  You have to take it 72 hours after s*x for it to work.  Even then it doesn't always work.  You shouldn't be having s*x, especially unprotected if you don't want to get pregnant.  You definitely could be pregnant.

Plan B wont work six days after intercourse. You may have struck it lucky and not fallen pregnant in the first place. I hope it all works out for you.
