And im soo sore what can i do to take away the tension and pain in my muscles.

  1. Put ice on the sore areas. Lactic acid builds up around 24 -48 hours after an activity if you use heat it will feel better but the swelling of the muscle will still be there. Before practise you can use heat to help loosen the muscle and after use ice to help with recovery.


  2. omg i hate that but the best thing to do is exercise today i fell in pothole in a field and hurt my hip i know how ya feel lol my legs are sore and idk what lol had to run a country mile today hate em lol

    hot bath to loosen those sore muscles ( and I mean really hot)

    exercise, max buildup of lactic acid will occur in about 3 days, if you continue to exercise daily you prevent this buildup


  4. Make sure you stretch really well, both tonight and again in the morning.  If you didn't stretch after you worked out today, make sure you do tomorrow, because that will help also.  Unfortunately, though, nothing will make it completely better except time, so you'll just have to deal with some discomfort for a while.
