  1. sattellite sucks.  been there done that!! if it storms like heavy rain or snow dont count on wathcing tv unless you dont mind clearing the dish often. i never liked it you technically only need one box you can splice the rest of your tv's frome one location and get most of the basic cable channels very easy to do!!

  2. i don't really have any good info, i just hate comcast too, and would love to switch, i've heard both dish and direct are pretty close to the same, and the dish going out in a storm is a pain, but it can't be any worse than the poor service from the idiots at comcast

  3. I like Direct TV over Dish. You will need to have a receiver for each TV unit. Also, you should be able to get local channels.

The dish needs to face South West and also you might need to run new coax cable to those bedrooms.

Find a good installer and he/she can better tell you how you need it setup.

  4. Directv and Dish are the same, I've had both. Directv has more  and will have more HD due to the location of their satellites. They are both about the same price and both have local stations. You will need a reciever for each TV but they do package deals all the time.

    The DVRs are great.

  5. Dish network the best

  6. satilite you need a box for every tv and you can get local channels. DISH network makes you pay 5 bucks or something for local, Direct TV is included in the price
