I hate High school!!?

Question

I am going to cardozo and today was my first day.

So much for thinking that my first day was gonna be my best.

It sucked.

I sat at lunch all by myself near a loud and incredibly rude group of juniors or seniors.

I had no friends or no one I knew.

The third floor was burning hot, and I got a test on the first day for math research and I KNOW I failed it.

I am so MISERABLE. The worst part is that the school is too big and I got a bunch of homework on the first day.

I wish it would be over, but I have to go back tomorrow =[

don't worry, it is always like that.

you will start making new friends soon enough.

you will find comfort knowing that you are not the only one that failed.

find a person to sit and eat lunch with.

have faith.

join a club or team.

Don't worry, I went through the same EXACT thing.  I ended up with a nervous break down in my lap and eventually went on to drop out of school twice.

But if you bare with it, it'll be over soon.  Trust me.

Plus, there is always online classes you can take if you are really desperate.

omg dont worry that was kind of like my first day but i didnt have test lol

but seriously my first day i got lost i didnt really have that many friends i knew cuz all my friends went to another school.......im a junior now and its so much easier if you just talk to people dont be afraid to ask to sit at a lunch table because your shy or you think they wont like you.....just mingle you will start to love highschool trust me i hated it and now i never wanna leave cuz its just so much fun:))

there's one class that i can actually do things i like in.

i can't wait until next semester; i start driver's ed. &&

i'm actually looking forward to geometry- i won't have english anymore!!

Don't worry, things will get better soon. Make friends, it doesn't matter who they are, just become friends with them, it doesn't even matter if you think they're geeks, nerds, or dorks, have some friends is better than none. Aim for the nicer kids that are in your own grade, or maybe younger if you're not a freshman. Just come up to them and say Hi, how's it going or hey do you mind if i eat with you, it's my first day. You have nothing to lose. Also, choose to sit by the nicer freshmen, not the older kids, cause they're meaner. Once you have friends, high school will be more fun for you. After like a week or two of getting settled and making some friends, join a sport or a club.. not only will you look foward to school, but you'll also make more friends. As for the homework thing, pace yourself and you'll get use to it.

school can be stressful sometimes, especially high school.

what you need to do is find you some friends and surround yourself with cool,calm,collected and crazy people so your always smiling laughing and having a great time.

I'm a junior and high school's been great for me and it will for you just try to keep and good additude!

join some sports teams in your school so you can meet some new people. In class become more chatty with others and get to know some new people even as aquaitances so when your in the hall ateast you'll get a hey. Be positive since negative people don't attract others. If your constantly pissed whos really gonna wanna talk to you right?! Its only high school anyways, i mean in highschool no one cares whos the loser or the drug addict since there are so many individual groups and crowds that i'm 100% sure theres atleast 1 person in that school you'll get along with very well. Your first day might of sucked, but the future can improve if you make it improve. Do whatever is necessary to get more invovled in  the social scene. As i said its as simple as starting a conversation with the girl that sits beside you in class. My first day wasn't to fun eaither. I didn't meet anyone until one week after the first day. It took about a month however for me to start hanging out with them after school. It was scary since i moved cities and had no one around me that i really knew. The reason i have friends now is because i put myself out there without thinking of regrets and all that. It's your life and if you want to improve it study for your tests so you can come home happy with your marks and talk to people and push the shy aside even if it means possibly putting yourself in a unconfortable position. The heat can be cured with a cool shower right after school. It's life your not the only one whos proabably miserable at your school whos lookin for friends ..have you eveer thought about that?

ok, lets just chill out there. its the first day of high school everyone goes through it its part of life. and the good thing is you'll be out of there and you wont even have to see anyone of there faces when it comes to the real life. so dont make it such a biggie just chill talk to some people and if your not the type to talk they'll come to you. just wait.:)

Yes your going to be there for a while so why not make the best of it.

I am not a math person myself. Haha. xD There will be better days I was a loner too on the first day but then my friends found me and I was fine.

Yeah highschool is kinda big. xD I am  a sophmore this year and this year is going to suck more than freshmen for me because my locker totally sucks. You'll find new friends. HIghschool is full of opportunities. :)

high school is tough, and nobody likes to be the new kid. I've been in your position and i did a couple things that helped me gain some cool friends that i still talk to today.

1. I sat at a new table everyday until i felt settled

2. I joined a couple clubs i was interested in...it's a great way to meet new people

3. I took an elective that allowed me to mingle like drama and choir...even band!

4. I stuck it out and was myself

my first day of high school was horrible too:( i am a freshman now too and my dad went just as bad.

i got my lunch 2 minutes before the bell rang.

at lunch all the tables where full and i had to stand up and eat.

my friends got a seat but did not save me one but i did have a seat before i went and got lunch but when i got out some one had stolen my chair.

all my classes where freezing

right after lunch i had my laptop in the case over my shoulder and i fell going up the steps and when i looked up some seniors that i knew where laughing at me (they did not know me though) :(

i was lost and late to all my classes and i also sat through a senior class and at the end he called roll and i told him that he did not call my name and he asked me what grade i was in, and i said 9th and everybody was laughing at me.

i wish that i sould go back to the first day of school and make it perfect.

but it gets better throughout the year!

it is my 6th day of school and i llove it now

I sit alone at lunch but that's because I'm antisocial

A lot of studying I should be donig right now.

I'm failing Spanish

but hey look on the bright side, pretty soon it will all be over and I'm counting down
