I hate bugs...?

I left food in my room. So one night I had a dream that bugs were in my room and a couple days later i found one. I thought it was a flea or fly or something. Then it got bigger another day, I don't know if it was the same bug or just a different one, but I found another bug that might have been an earwig or something. Then i found the first bug another couple days later i tried to find info about it, it flies and was kinda jumping into my wall (bumping into it), it kinda looks like a silverfish but it's not. And tonight I found another bug and I'm getting really pissed. (Way before this I cleaned my room though). The bug i found tonight I didn't get a good look but it like either a red fly/beatle or a ladybug. not really a lady bug though. I don't sleep in my room, barley go in it, and my mom won't do anything about the bugs. (I didn't tell her about this one yet). I just need to know what I should do, or what kind of bugs I'm finding. It seems every couple days I find a new one..

  1. I'm going to make a wild guess that it is summer where you live. With summer comes bugs. Lots of bugs. Lots of bugs also bring lots of spiders. There is no getting away from them. They come in when you open windows and doors; they come in with the groceries you buy; they even  come in on your clothes. They are an integral part of this world. It seems to me that you may need some desensitizing because there is no way your mom can control nature. Sorry kid, the bugs are going to win. There is no way that you can exterminate every living bug in your home.

  2. Though these steps are meant for spiders but they do apply to other bugs as well -

There are many ways to make your home less appealing to spiders. If there are cracks in your foundation or around windows and doors, seal them up.

Check places where water pipes and electrical lines enter your house, and caulk any openings.

Keep woodpiles and debris away from your house.

In storage areas, put boxes up off the floor and away from walls.

Seal boxes with tape to keep spiders from living inside them. In general, cleaning up clutter will mean you have fewer spiders.

Pruning vegetation away from your house and keeping the area next to the foundation clear will also make your house less attractive to spiders.

Outdoor lighting sometimes attracts insects, which in turn attracts spiders.

You can move outdoor lighting away from windows and doors if this is a problem around your home.
