  1. Hello,

You cannot make 4 years go by fast! Besides, you do not want to lose four precious years of your life!

Why don't you see if your parents would be open to you doing public school on-line or home schooling? There are accredited programs out there that are reasonably priced and that will work with you individually to meet your needs. One of the best is www.oakmeadow.com.

I, too, hated school from the very first day of first grade (I didn't go to kindergarten) until the day I left. FREEDOM!!!! I left early so I could get on with my life. You might try to see if you can accelerate your work, too, so you can get out early.

Who says we must all endure a 13 year prison sentence called school? It is not for everyone. It was not for me, and it sounds like it is not for you, either.

Talk to your parents. Tell them how you feel. Be mature about it so they know you are serious. Let them know that education is very important to you but school is not (education and schooling are not synonymous!). You are interested in being educated, but not in enduring 4 years of misery. There are many ways to get an education~on-line schools, distance learning, self-study, tutors, and much more. You and your parents need to find what would work best for you. And do not be surprised if you find you aren't sure. It may take a few trial and error episodes before you find the right answer.

I also highly suggest the book, "How To Quit School and Get a Real Life and Education", by Grace Llewellyn. I do not believe in everything she writes about, but most of it makes perfect sense! And she is a good and interesting writer. She does not mean to just "drop out", but to "drop in" life and make it count! To take control of your education and make it work for you. We self-educate ourselves (as adults) all through life so you might want to get a taste of it now.

    Good luck and God bless!

    Lori

  2. Don't fret about it.  You will look back and think, why did I worry about it so much.  Have fun, and loosen up, and relax.  Don't be so serious.

  3. dude find some freinds and that will make things better. enjoy it now cause when u get out here it sucks even worse. trust me i know im almost 30

  4. High school just isn't for some people! I know it's not for me, I went to high school last year, which was my freshman year- and I hated it! So this year I am doing on-line school, then I am going to get my GED, start community college then go to a university!

However, you really shouldn't make that choice right away. Try your best to stick it out for the rest of the year and then you will be able to decide what your next move is, you may end up having tons of fun, and tons of friends by the time the school year is over!

    I hope I helped :]

  5. dude if u do wat ur supposed to then it will be fine. do ur homework. study and keep out of trouble. idk. make new friends. hey just try ur best at school and it will be ok
