I hate how poeple dont believe in global warming, do you?

it makes me mad, there is so much explination to why global warming is happening, ii have been expieriencing it this whole year in ny, in the miiddle of the winter it was sunny and the next day it was snowing. also alot of weeks wern't cold at all. Another thing is ii see pollution everyday and we all no that there is, it is scientificly prooven that it brakes the ozone layer, what heppens when the ozone layer brakes? the sun heats up are world causeing floods, Algore even proved the difference in the ice caps etc. I think poeple who dont believe in it are very close minded, =/

Sorry, but I think anyone who believes in Al Gore and his disproven film are retarded.  Drooling vegetable retards who throw their own p**p at people.  Bobble headed yes-men sycophants who believe anything to be part of some cause.  And I also believe they wet themselves alot.

CO2 FOLLOWS warming, not the other way around.  That pretty much kills any debate about it.  Also the major source of CO2 is the oceans...hence the planet gets warmer, more CO2 from the oceans.  With that being the case limiting CO2 emissions is quite frankly retarded.

There is no way on God's Earth that our pathetic little puny species has anything to do with non-existant global warming.  Maybe Al Gore should pony up some of those obscene profits he's making off of his hypocratical global warming scare.

Dude, seriously, have you ever looked at a photo of our planet?  It is pristine, it is beautiful, it is a thing of wonder.....but you cannot tell that we are even here.  Never mind the fake "earth at night" photos, you can't see cities at night from space with the naked eye.  Ask a scientist how to destroy our planet and he would laugh.  Nature is way more resilient than any of you give it credit for.  It is not fragile, but robust!  Ever try to get rid of weeds?  For God's sake nature is tough!

I agree entirely that global warming is occurring, and it has been for a few thousand years now - since the last ice age.  The cooling and warming of the earths atmosphere is a natural phenomenon that has repeated itself over millions of years.  Your buddy Al Gore may think he has "proof" that global warming is entirely driven by man, but all he has is some evidence to show that we are perhaps speeding the warming, but by how much is really immeasureable over such a short period of time.

I am a firm believer that the earth is capable of balancing itself out, and that over time various processes will occur that slow, halt or even reverse global warming, but it won't happen instantly, there will be a lag - how long that will be, I can't say.  A wise man once said "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction".

It is too late to try to solve global warming - it was already occurring, and will continue to do so independently of mans input.  Sit back and enjoy the life you have, stop worrying about what you can't change.

btw:  the ozone layer has nothing to do with global warming

Erm.... No. Thats not how the theory works. It has absolutely nothing to do with the ozone layer, so before posting such a question, you might want to do at least a little research. the theory is that greenhouse gasses (mostly CO2) are put into the atmosphere, which then in turn trap heat from the sunlight on the earth.

But to answer your question, no it does not make me mad. It is very possible that humans are affecting the temperature of the earth, but by exactly how much is unknown because of the number of factors and how complicated the process is. Furthermore, the earth has gone though much warmer periods in time and as far as i know it wasnt the apocalypse (unless it was, in which case please inform me). Your own experience is not much to go on anyway, considering you are 13, and supposedly warming would have already began to occur when you were born, hence giving you no reference. Plus, are you claiming that sunny days aren't supposed to occur during the winter? On the topic of Al gore, al gore's film was very powerful, the truth was stretched quite a bit at times, for example, the ocean rising 20 feet, which is WAY beyond most estimates. Skeptics arent necessarily closed minded, disagreeing with something doesnt mean you are close minded to it.

So perhaps you should open your mind up a little bit to other's views.

No, I don't. Global Warming is just a fancy name given to natural processes that have occured throughout earth since the beginning of time. We've had various ice ages/warm periods as well as subsequent extinction of species. This fancy term, in my opinion, just acts to stir paranoia among the masses and extreme climate changes have been recorded throughout history. Don't forget that Al Gore invented the internet too(lol).

i believe in it. but what makes me mad is the people blame eachother like,"its China's fault" or "its US fault" come on people we are all guilty here, of course some countries contributed more than other countries, but we are all guilty so lets stop blamming eachother and do something about it!

Hon, listen.   The earth warms in cycles and cools in cycles too.   Either a warm spell or a cold spell in one year means nothing in the long run,  since those spells come and go and rather quickly at that.

We should do a lot to curb dirty emissions because invariably,  people get sick but to say these emissions are why we have hot and cold spells is just not correct.
