I hate my dad!? so d**n much! Is it normal?

When thinking of him I get angry. I don't live with him but he expects me to love him! Even after he beat upmy mum. Is it normal to hate hikm?

my dad choked my mom and slammed her up against a wall once and i wanted to slit his throat. but they went through a lot of counseling and resolved their problems and i still somewhat resent him for the fact that he's simply never told me that i ever did a good job on anything.

but he's also my dad, and for that i could never truly hate him.

yes i am going on 21 and my dad had not been in my life  since i was 4 and a few months ago he got my number from my brother called said he wanted to see me and my son but didnt happen he use to beat my mom lock her in a shack while he was in the house sleeping with a striper i hate him he beat me and my sister and brothers too

You have to get past the hate, I know too well with my own father and x husband for sexual abuse... I was allowing it to eat me up a lot.

Don't do that , it will effect your life badly. You don't have to love or respect them you just have to not hate.

he put his hands on your mom yea thats a reason to be mad but he still your dad tell him how you feel about his doing that to your mom and the problems you have with him if he still a as$$$ then i would stay lowkey

I can undertstand why you hate your dad, i probally would to if he did something like that, if he is trying then you could try to be a bit nicer, but there is no need to love him.

Yes is normal. I can't relate but my boyfriend does aswell. It makes me sad sometimes but it his chose. Just remember once he dies all you'll remember is how much of a bad guy he was and nothing good. You'll live in hate forever and feed off of it even in death. But its really your chioce.

I'm in the exact same position as you right now. I feel like I hate my dad, too. But trust me, you don't. You only think that you do. Once he's passed away, you're going to realize that you really did love him, and he loved you. My dad says the meanest things to me, my sisters and my mum. We just have to bear living with him until we have enough money to leave. Never say that you hate your dad. You'll regret it if you do.
