I've had a red rash on my face for months now! i've tried everything. I don't know what causes it, i dont know why it's there, it just is! it's annoying the h**l out of me. Some days it's not too bad and just a red patch under my eye, other days it's dry/flaky/all over my forehead and cheeks and no amount of make-up will cover it. I tried lotions, gels, honey/oats/banana face packs, i even tried nappy rash cream! (which seemed to help a bit) i've tried oil, allergy pills, exfoliation, steaming my skin, eczema cream.... It just wont go away and it's making me so depressed. Anyone know what to do? Please help!

  1. Try aloe. It's soothing and works well on rashes and that type of thing. But make sure to keep a good attitude about it. I know it would be really hard to keep a good attitude about something that can (and will) be seen in public, like a rash on your face (you can't wear a hat over it or something,) I'd suggest NOT to try lotions and face creams because sometimes they put strange stuff in it like babies. Plus it'll just damage your skin. I'm not saying all lotions are like that, but make sure you know what you're buying. Hmm..the cause could be of foods; my sister got one on her cheek because she ate dirt. (Well she was like six then,) Have you been eating a lot of one type of food too much? Always drink water and try breathing--like where your stomach actually goes in and out--and if there's any problemos just talk to me. :)

  2. it's all about finding the right regiment for your skin type. i have problems with some oily, some dry and flaky patches on my skin. and it's super dull. but i found a new Web tool that helped me define what type of skin i had and then recommend specific products from the store to fix my probs. i just blogged about it if you want to check it out:

  3. Go to the docs

  4. I would get  a referral from your doctor to go see a dermatologist (someone who specializes in skin problems). This rash could be something more than just an allergy to your face products, it could be ringworm or something. who knows?
