I never had a problem with my teeth until I started joining pageants. Now when I look at the other girls with their perfect teeth it makes me feel like if I smile I'll lose the whole thing! I think that it didn't bother me before because back then everyone I knew had braces so I was like "whatever, their teeth isn't perfect either" but now everyones getting their braces off and I now noticed that the left side of my teeths really messed up. My mom said that its's ok for me to get braces if I get the regular ones- not invisalign. The only problem with that is that its my senior year! And I don't want to be the only one with braces on at my pageants! I think Id cry everyday if that happened! At my job I only make around 250 a month. I know its not enough but is there anyway I could afford invisalign? And you could go tell me to get regular brace but I just can't do it.

  1. You shouldn't compare yourself even though it's hard sometimes, especially when you in a thing like pageants. Normal braces are the cheapest way to go, Invisalign is the most expensive. There is another way though...  http://www.sixmonthbraces.com/lingualbra...

Lingual Braces are similar to the traditional braces, but they are fitted in the inside of your teeth so no one can tell your wearing any! They are in between the price of normal and Invisalign, and are not as affective as normal braces but almost! I wish I had know about these when I got mine on!

  2. ask your dentist.

  3. go online to the website for invisalign they will tell you of dentists in ur area who give consults..you may have to pay a small fee..took my daughter just yesterday...

  4. You have four issues with you at present.

    1. Potential health issues due to malalignment

    2. Cosmetic issues with malalignment

    3. Financial limitations

    4. Your personal views with permanent braces

The major advantage of invisalign is cosmetic (but at an extra cost). However your malalignment should be fixed and earlier the better. Unless you are able to organise a loan (again you have to pay much more amount over a period of time) there is no way that you will be able to go for invisalign.

Many at a times we worry so much for issues which the others are of not much of concern. Again you carefully think your permanent braces will be a problem for the others or it is only for you. If I were in your position I would sacrifice a short duration of time for a permanent benifit
