  1. Setting goals and targets are a great way forward. However it has to be serious and be determined, otherwise it will have the opposite effect in that you will have low self respect due to constant failure.Set a goal and stick to it,do not allow yourself another one til you feel confident you have given your all.

  2. Great idea! You don't have to wait till new years to make resolutions. You can make them anytime. Monthly sounds do-able.

The problem is keeping it in mind not to do (or to do) those things you resolve. A few essential ones would be better. Sticking up reminders around your desk, monitor, on top of your laptop, on your fridge etc. can help.

If monthly you probably wouldn't try to do too much at once then fail because the task was too big. A more tangible easier to reach goal would be better. Then you could build on your achievements the next month.

But at least if you don't manage to stick it out completely you can try again next month. I reckon you'd be more likely to succeed, in the long term, with monthly goals/resolutions.

If you get organised enough, you might even want to try to make a game of it and do weekly resolutions. (See below.)

  3. Monthly ones sound good,I`m still struggling with daily ones,

  4. not for me.

i do have unbirthdays though~i party 364 days a year and stay in on my birthday.this year i get an extra unbirthday.

  5. I am resolute on having a monthly cycle until I hit menopause full force.

  6. Yes. Little goals are much easier to maintain than one big one.

  7. Sounds GOOD! That may help us deal with problems that we have during the month. Remembering our resolutions may take a lot of stress off of us.

  8. Actually, that is a great idea and probably more achievable.

  9. Well that would be another 11 things that i dont stick too.

The one a years enough for me

  10. I chucked all of them things a long time ago. I just try to do what I set my mind to do. No more dam resolutions for me. If it will work for you then go for it and best of luck.
