Hahahahah no that's just a myth. A tampon doesn't even obsorb that much alcohol, probably the amount a shot glass can hold and I don't think you will get drunk from one shot. Unless you are a lightweight big time.

Be the designated driver instead of drinking with them.  If you don't drive, then either ask if they'd rather do something where alcohol wouldn't be involved or just have non-alcoholic drinks.

Try drinking girlie drinks that have low doses of alcohol.   Usually you can ask a bartender for something that doesn't taste like alcohol.

Pina Coladas, Long Island Ice Teas, Grasshoppers, Shirley Temple Blacks all don't really taste like alcohol.  (Grasshoppers taste like chocolate mint, and Shirley Temple Blacks use kahlua which doesn't really have an alcoholic flavour)

Sorry to tell EVERYONE but you are WRONG. Yes you not only can get drunk but you can DIE that way. A champagne e***a that is given an then excreted immediately has been documented to have killed several people. That is FOUR glasses of wine.
