  1. take calcium pills

  2. yes, but ask your doctor about any pills, even over the counter(non-prescription) pills. there are other options of drinks. have you tried soy milk or ensure or boost? i would really recommend asking a doctor for suggestions to supplement your diet.

  3. It helps if you put vanilla into your milk.

    It will give it flavoring.

    You might like it...

  4. I don't like milk. Eat cheeses and yogurt or dairy.

I ate Tums with calcium when I was pregnant and the doctor said it was fine.

  5. Drink orange juice with calcium in it. It has just as much calcium as milk and is absorbed by the body better. Milk isn't even good for you anyway.

  6. Drink something besides milk. A doctor told me it wasn't fit for human consumption.

  7. There are calcium pills.  Most women over 40 take them or try to drink/eat dairy products.  You can get calcium from other foods than milk. Cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, smoothies, ice cream.... Research it on the internet.  Calcium pills are huge and taste & smell horrible (in my opinion).  The pills are an option, but I was told by my doctor dairy products are still better than the pills.

  8. It is totally O.K if you are a bit underweight. At your age, your metabolism is probably going crazy. Most boys your age are really scrawny.

Try Nesquik or some other chocolate milk powder or syrup, or maybe strawberry. Try NOT to resort to calcium pills - the real thing is much better. Maybe try a multi vitamin for kids.

  9. Wahoo!  I throw up when I drink milk by itself but when I eat things with it in it I'm fine.. Aside from acid reflux.

All I can say is cheese/dairy/Soy!

lots of soy, if you can take it.  High in protein.

There are also Calcium pills indeed.

  10. calcium pills should do the trick

  11. drink flavored milk and by the way im at ur age and milk is not a problem for me id drink milk if  anyone gave it to me

  12. Calcium rich foods include tinned fish such as tinned sardines, tinned salmon, tinned mackerel and others that include very soft fish bones that crumble up when you eat the fish.

A web search for "calcium rich foods" will give you a few more.

A calcium supplement every day would also help.

  13. i think there are calcium supplements in the market, although i don't know if they encourage kids to take them. however, taking calcium supplements is better than not taking  any source of calcium, right?  here in the philippines, they have caltrate, a calcium supplement in tablet form.

cheese and other dairy products are god sources of calcium too. do you also hate milkshakes? because if you try to hide the taste of milk by adding chocolates or fruits, then you are technically drinking milk, right?

  14. Yes, you can take calcium pills.  They aren't prescription. You can get them at any drug store. You can also get calcium from cheese and yogurt, and you could put chocolate in your milk if that would help you get it down, especially since you said you're underweight. Did you know you can also get calcium from vegetables?  Spinach is real high in calcium.  Other vegetables that have a good amount of calcium are sweet potato, raw carrots, cooked broccoli, squash and pickles, both dill & sweet.  Good for you for taking an interest in your health.  You'll be glad you did.

  15. there are calcium pills. i've seen them at the store when i get vitamins.

it could also be the brand of milk that ur getting or the type. i usually get milk from publix and when i get it from somewhere else it tastes weird. also i HATE whole milk, it's too thick for me so i only drink skim milk (very little fat).

u could also try soy milk...
