  2. Yahoo! Music Jukebox has the least problems with halting/buffering during heavy CPU utilization and bandwidth problems. What happens when you use real player and especially Itunes?  They should be unusable.  You should also have problems with the Internet and so forth. Does your system have performance problems (heavy paging and high Cpu utilization)?  Did you check for updated Network Interface Connect (NIC) drivers for you Local Area Connection.  You may have a cable modem, but did you opt for the cheapest package?  The one with the slowest download speed.  Try using a site that provides a free bandwidth test to see if your download speed is at least 1.5 Gb.  The small "b" means bits.  A big "B" means bytes.  A byte can store a character of data.  8bits=1 Byte.
