I hav a ps3 and a tv i want some speakers tht will play sound from both without havin to switch wires about?

i want some speakers or an amp tht will connect to my ps3 and tv at the same time and them play sounds from the tv and ps3 without me having to switch wires about at the back

I have an amp connected to 5.1 surround. It only has one optical sound input though. But I bought an optical switch box to plug both my tv and the optical from the playstation 3 into. Then an optical runs from it into the amp. So you just have to turn a swich based on what you are listening to. I use optical because the sound is really pure, only beaten by the sound thru an hdmi cable. But amps with an hdmi plug are more expensive usually.

if you have composite cabling just put one red wire in the telly and the white one in an adapter that goes in the stereo, thats what i do, who needs stereo sound, mono works fine
