and am now really struggling to stay, am scared 2 death 2 go back :-(

please can any1 from sa that has immigrated to the uk give me some friendly advise?

to idiot jojo so your saying its right for immigrants  to sit on their arses in our council flats  making more babies for us tax payers to stretch our wallet out 2 and treat British people like c**p spit at them just for being in a queue expect everything under there feet i could go on for ages but my point is we British are drowning with all these immigrants coming in pretty soon  the uk will be so full of them it will be a third world country

I can't say i'v immigrated to the uk, but i really feel for u. I am very sympathetic to those who have emmigrated from their countries because of violence, politcal corruption or natural disasters. Just hold on in there :) and i really hope immigration don't send you back to where your running away from, because everybody deserves the chance to live and work without the threat of violence and death hanging over their head. Btw Lucy, don't be so narrow minded or racist. I too hold a 'fully' British passport but i am also aware of the fact that it was only by chance. You could have easily been born in a country torn apart by violence, so just bear that in mind before you think you're above everyone else who is less fortunate than you.

Struggle on it's the only way. I know SA's who clean windows and do menial work to have a simple in in the UK. UK is a country of opportunity if you are self employed. The EU is open if you speak certain languages.

the high crime rate in England is caused by unlimited immigration,we don't want what we have got let alone any more, but if you are an upstanding law abiding citizen preferably white I wish you well. But we don't want South Africa over here. IE to get like South Africa.

To all you idiots criticising, you have no bloody idea how f*cking bad it is in SA. You go live there for one week and come say those nasty things!!

I came over 3 years ago for the same reason, but I'm loving it. And I have no death with so I will not go back. Why are you struggling, what are you finding hard?

The only advice I can give you is to think what you came from and think what you have now. It is so much better here, we can walk the streets at night, we are not caged in to our own homes, money is better, you know why you left, hold on to that. Don't go back, it is really just getting worse. :-)

leaving a country because of high crime rate is not a good enough reason, you should go back.

We have high crime rate here and would love to escape but some of us have to put up with it!.

I have full european citizenship and an EU passport as well as South African citizenship. I live in SA, the crime does not really bother me. Most of the people on this site are whinges. If you are uneducated and struggling in England, come back to SA where you belong.
