I hava finished my PG studies this year in IT,i want to achive something in my life.,pls guide me to bcme IAS?

IAS indeed gives a lot of satisfaction for achievers. I wish many hard working and honest young men like you enter the higher echelon of the government. You may first go through the syllabus and find out for yourself the scheme of the examination. It consists of two tier exams. The preliminary examination will be on General Studies and on one of the optional subjects. You may choose one of the subjects in which you are proficient  and can score well. Once you qualify in the preliminary exam, you will prepare for the Main Written Exam. Here, you have to write exams on two optional subjects and General Studies and a language paper which qualifying in nature. Once, you are selected in the Main, you will be called for the interview by the UPSC. Based on your performance in the Main Exam and the interview, the rank list will be prepared. You should join some institutes preparing the candidates for the exams.
