How much "risk " are you willing to take ?

High risk investments can make money, BUT they also can  loose money, so never invest the next month's rent .

Low risk investments will NOT pay much interest, but they are secure.

You  need to decide how much risk you can stand, and then look for mutual funds that are highly  rated over at least 5 years of growth in the stock market. . An annual rate of return at or above 10 percent is good. Funds that promise to deliver annual rates above 15 percent are possibly not a good investement . Remember that term  "risky " ?

I don't know very well but I think that that buying actions at a petroleum company would be a good investition but you should be careful when the petroleum will reach 200 $ per barrel and you should read FT or another newspaper. I read it and I didn't believed when the oil price was little that it will be 100 $ per barrel and it was, I didn't believe that it will rise up from there but it did, today is 145 $ per  barrel and now they say it will reach 200 $ and I finally believe it.

Or I think you can buy some dollars, because the dollar is now cheap but it is impossible not to become more expensive in a few years. But about the dollar I'm sure that it won't be easy to appreciate.
