  1. pump your arms and shoulders like crazy when you pop off the block, that helps immensely, after then keep your head down and run as if its a controlled fall


  2. well first off get out of the blocks as hard as u can. have your arms pumping at 90 degrees and not crossing ur body. dig every spike in teh track wtih every step. and run hard lol

  3. I am a distance runner but have watched many sprinting races and I know that fists and crossing your body with your arms are both a big no no. Also using your arms to build momentum is key this is true for all distances. Look up towards the finish not down or to your competitors on the sides of you.

  4. get out the blocks really fast reaction time is everything.Keep your eyes on the finish line looking around you'll lose consentration and it'll slow you down.Also be as relaxed as you can tensing up will only slow you down.Use your arms but dont clench your fists keep your hands straight out.
