I have 11th pick in my fantasy football league, what would be the best round to pick up a defense?

The last.  Don't waste a pick on defense.  They are the hardest to predict.

I always wait for the last round to pick my kicker.  And the second to last round to pick my defense.  Every year, they come out with defensive rankings and they're never how teams finish the year.  A couple years ago, the Bears were ranked so high and people burned a high pick for them.  They ended up sucking that year.  

I like to target a defense that's under the radar who I think will be good.  Last year, I got Dallas and they were nice all year.  It's all about value.  Let someone pick the Chargers defense in the 7th round while you're strengthening your bench.

Always wait until the end to pick your D and K.  Someone will reach for San Diego or the Vikes early..Let them.  You will be better off getting deeper depth in the early rounds.  Defense and Kickers don't win your league..Depth does.

take a d in the 10th or 11th round if u want a good  d like the vikings or chargers d or u can draft a d after the 10th round but try to fill in for your starters so u can have some bench depth

Wait till the last 3 rounds.  The difference between the first and 15th defense isnt much.....maybe 3 points per game.  Get better backup players. You can always pick up defenses throughout the year.

Unless you can get SD or Minn in like round 9 or 10, I would wait until the 12th or so to pick up a D.  Just too many other positions to fill to reach for DEF too early.

you don't need to take a defense until other people start to take them. The 5th or 6th best defense is still really good and could end up being the #1. probably around round 11. try to get cowboys or vikings because they were good last year and they both added key players.
