  1. For that much I would buy a nice laptop that can play TV shows and pay off my credit card with the rest.

  2. yea dont buy plasma, life time sucks, If your not worried about if you can mount it I bought a 1080p/i HD 50" Sony SXRD for 1,200 from best buy but its a 2007 model and a rear projection that weighs maybe 65-75 lbs which isnt bad for the size and price

  3. You can get a 50" Panasonic plasma (TH-50PX75U) for $1400. Dollar for dollar, Panasonic is the very best of the plasmas. If I could not get a Panasonic or a Pioneer (too costly), I'd pass on a plasma. As to where, go to www.nextag.com or a similar shopping service and you will get a bunch of on-line stores and price comparisons. Or just type "panasonic plasma 50 htdt" in your Yahoo or Google search box.

  4. get a 40"sony bravia lcd flat screen futureshop

  5. Wow, good luck on that. My LCD is only 46 inches and cost $2000.

I hope you don't want to sacrifice the quality for the cheaper deal. If you are going to spend that much money on a TV you should probably save a few hundred more dollars so you can really be proud of your purchase.
