Question:

I have 15" Monitor and it was working properly on 1280 by 800 resolution with windows xp.?

But when I again installed windows xp my same monitor does not set on 1280 by 800 resolution.If I try to set it on 1280 by 800 resolution i get message "Out of Range" how can i set my monitor on this resolution.......

  1. your graphic driver is down the drain....update it


  2. you might be missing a graphics driver

    if you have intel, you should get the driver off of the website,

    if you have a graphics card installed, you should get the device driver from the manufacturers website

  3. The refresh rate might be too high check it in Display properties > Settings > Advanced > Monitor > Screen Refresh Rate. Lower that value and see if it works. Also, have you installed the drivers for your graphics card yet or is it using the generic ones from Windows?

  4. You are asking for too much. Buy a new machine

  5. install your vga driver from your motherboard cd or if you are using a graphics card, install the vga driver from your graphics card cd.. it should work fine..
