  1. I would say build it coz then you can say with pride i built that

  2. i say it depends.......how much is it if its mor then 100 then buy it-unless it costs less to make it......also make sure u hav the time to

  3. I'd suggest buying it. The price of RC items have really come down in the past few years. You really won't save any money by building it yourself. If you wish, there are also some kits that have the most difficult assemblies already put together, and you can finish the model. Without much experience with modeling and fine scale building, a scratch built boat can be very challenging. Where as, you are assured that an already assembled kit, or patially assembled kit will function the way it should. Happy boating.

  4. it would be wonderful if you put a lot of effort to make it and when its finished, then you can take it for a ride. these days everything is already made, you just pay and thats it. I really liked the times when I had LEGO toys. it took hours and hours of building various toys :]

  5. i would say make it from a kit, will be more fun

  6. It depends on how old you are and your interest in the hobby. RC boats are not as complicated as cars or planes, but you can still goof some things up. My advice would be to build it yourself. They come with instructions that are easy to follow, and you get a better understanding of your boat. Plus, your local hobby shop should be more than happy to help if you run into trouble. Have fun!

  7. hi, i make customised models, boats, cars, planes etc. & i think its best to build the model yourself, it should cost less for a kit & you can make it the way you want it & its great to look at later & think to yourself that you made it! im building the queen mary 2 justnow, its a very large model made by revell & costs around £50-£70. i remember seeing a model clyde puffer (north light) or (north star) on ebay for £155 i think & that would be a nice boat to build! hope you do build your own, its more fun! good luck!
