  1. I would very much recommend against 15-inch low profile tires.  Besides needing new wheels since 15-inch tires will not mount on 16-inch wheels such a tire will be much smaller in overall diameter and thus throwing off the accuracy of the odometer and speedometer, changing the final drive gearing and will have insufficient load carrying capacity.

With new wheels you could mount a 17-inch tire, the preferred size would be P225/55R17 95T or 225/55R17 97T, either of which will work just fine requiring only a slight inflation pressure increase of 2 psi over what is recommended for your OEM 16-inch tires.

  2. no.  you can put 16 low profiles on the rim...  you cannot change the tire's wheel requirement without getting a new wheel.  if you want lower profiles' you'll also need a larger rim.  17 or 18 would work for that car.  probably an 18 to get real low profiles.

  3. In either case you have to buy new rims, since your present 16" wheels will only accept 16" tires. If you're gonna change, go to 17" since 15's will look retarded ! ( too small )

  4. No, your info is lacking also, you didn't state the width of the rim either.

First off, if your tires now are 16 inch than that means they are on a 16 inch rim, you cannot mount 17 or 18 or 15 or any other size than 16 inch tires on the 16 inch rim, if you want low profile tires than get 16 inch low profile tires, but you would also have to make sure that the tires would fit the width of the rim. A rim has several measurements, two of which are diameter and width, your rims should have a marking on the inside saying something like 16x7 or 16x10, 16x5 etc. If you mount too skinny or too wide of a tire on a rim with too small or large of a width it will not stay on properly.
