  1. RCA plugs, the outside ring is the negative side the pin in the middle is positive. A little misleading because audio signal is AC but this is for correct phase relationship. Post more info or email me.

    Worked in electronics more than 25 yr. and audio has been my hobby longer.


  2. RCA connectors are normally on coaxial cable, not speakers... but, if you really want to...

    split the speaker wires apart. go back about 1.5 inches.

    There should be one side that either has a painted stripe or is a different color - copper and silver. Strip the insulation off the copper side, cut back about .25in. Insert this into the hole - from the back - of the RCA connector until the bare wire exits the hole. Solder this lead and cut the excess wire. Strip back the other wire about .25in, it is always a good idea to "tin" this wire and the shell of the RCA conector. This  will aid soldering this wire. After you have prepared the connection, solder the wire to the shell.

    EASY eh?
