  1. It could be that there isn't enough current available to power the amp. Or, the subs could be wired to an impedance that the amp can't handle. I would check the sub wiring to see if the subs aren't wired below the lowest stable impedance of the amp.

  2. Because it is a safety feature built into the amp. The amp is trying to pull alot of power to satisfy the subs. I would recommend a bigger amp if you can afford it. If you cant just change the wiring set up. Check out my myspace if you have more questions

  3. Just as everyone else said, get a bigger amp, or simply adjust your amp to the maximum SAFE voltage ( which should convert into that 400 RMS) and that's about all you're gonna get out of it. The amp is going into protect mode because it's drawing too much current. That's all there is to it. But just to let you know, if you do decide to get an amp that will fully power those subs, it would have to be in the range of 1500 RMS, which is quite a lot for a normal car to handle. HO Alt and Big 3 upgrade will probably be necessary. Look into them.

  4. try using a two channel amp. mono means one therefor the amp wont push two subs. try one sub for now.

  5. Saaaaaaaaaaaaafe mode

  6. The max wattage your amp can handle is 400.  When you turn your 2 750 watt subs up the wattage use increases past  the 400 watts your amp can handle and trips the overload relay.  Turning it off resets the relay.  You either need lower wattage subs or a higher wattage amp.
