  1. This area of ground would go sour very quickly with two little ponies. Think of manure two ponies would produce in this small area.

Preferably a larger area that you can break feed and spell small areas would be better.

Good luck with your purchase - how fun.

  2. try www.horsetopia.com and 115 meters is big enough but put them in a 12x12 stull that will be big enough for them to run and buck around at night and you can also have a 10x10 stall that is aqha standards.

  3. That area is a little bigger than 10 yards x 10 yards. So it would be equivalent to two box stalls for two miniatures. If you want them for free, be prepared for health or behavior problems, and you are probably going to have to adopt them from a humane society which will require an adoption fee. They still need exercise like full-sized horses, so they'll need time outside this enclosure. It sounds as if you may want them for "pets" in a small yard. This is NOT a good idea. Anyhow, good luck.

  4. Man I don't know but like, what's the point in even having horses if ya aren't ridin them? they just sit in yer yard and eat and cost you money man. Dude fr real, if it was me i wouldn't waste my time with little ponies. I need the REAL thing!! cheya!!

  5. Miniature horses rock!

Personally, i think 104 square metres is a bit on the small side. The horses may be small but they eat grass like lawnmowers and you will need to have lots of spare grass to put them on. Also you will need a good size field shelter which would take up quite a bit of room.

As for actually buying the horses, look around a local rescue centre (try the RSPCA or ILPH if you're in the UK).

    Good luck ! x

  6. according to a metric conversion chart 104 sq mtrs equals roughly .025 acres or 1089 sq feet.  Even though they are mini's they will still need adequate forage. So you will need to suppliment with hay & grain. It seems kind of small considering the ideal rule of thumb is approx  1-1.5 acres for each horse and .5-.75 acres for a pony. Based on that and the proportion ratio of animal to ground area you would need at least .25 acres per pony which calculates to be about 1011 square meters (per pony). Is the 104 sq meters a stall or will that be their regular domiscile?

  7. You can go on some adoption sites such as the blue cross, ILPH and RSPCA horse adoption, which often have minatures in pairs for adoption. However, some have probabaly suffered domestic abuse and you will have to be prepared to work with them and gain their trust and cater for their needs, so you will need to be aware of this.

I think 104 square metres is a little small, but it depends if its good grass in the field etc. Is the 104 square meters the yard or field?
