I have 2 alpine r10s and a titan txi 1500 rms 1ohm mono amp whats the best way to hook the subs up??

the place i got the stuff from had it runnin at a 1/2 ohm and it blew the amp the subs are duel voice coil and are suposed to run at 2ohms at 1/2 ohm they cooked the amp in about 3 months.
