Im 22 and I went to the dentist and had one of my upper baby molars extracted, there is no adult tooth up there so now i have a space that you can just about see when I smile..On the opposite side my other molar is a baby tooth also with no adult tooth up there and its decaying and it hurts when i chew on that side so I need to do something to fix it! One dentist told me he would put a post and crown and another dentist said he wanted to extract it and put a implant (which I cannot afford right now) so then he said he will put medicine to kill and a temp filling for now ("pulp cap indirect" was written on treatment plan)...I dont know if I should go back to other dentist that will put the semi porcilean crown and post because this dentist said he cant put a crown...i dont know who to believe that is a better thing to do...I just dont want to extract this other one now because i do not want to have a tooth missing on each side at the same time. I dont mind getting the implants but i cant afford that for a few months and Im kinda a baby when it comes to pain. Implants seem like a lot of work and pain...So I just want to alteast save this baby tooth for a little while longer while I can save up $ for TWO implants (no insurance)...I rather get a implant where I already have a missing tooth and when thats done then extract the other one...Or should I just let the other dentist do the semi porcilean crown with post?? HELP!

  1. Extract the baby tooth and get braces to close the gap, it is the best solution
