  1. Apparently, you got Twinkles spayed "just in time".  It sounds like her hormones were ready to "send her outside to mate", and the hormone LEVEL hasn't reduced, yet.  Even though she cannot breed now, since her Ovarian Hysterectomy, her hormones haven't "caught up" with the information.

She will continue to do this "caterwauling" until the hormone levels have receded.  CALL your vet and ask if there's anything you can give her to stop this.  I would suggest 1/4 of a Dramamine tablet, but I don't know the weight of your cat.  ASK your vet...........

    Good luck.........

  2. Good question.  Tough answer.  Get ear plugs and call it a day.  GL-D

  3. She may still have left over harmones raging.

take a squirt bottle and get her when she goes to the door

and as one said... play with your cats some in the morning and see if this helps.

    good luck

  4. Do you live in an area by the woods or the country? My cat used to do this and she'd even jump in the windows and knock the curtains down because there was a wild animal out there and she could hear it. I don't know if you might have a couple of raccoons or coyotes or even just other cats fighting outside could cause this. There are plug in things that they sell at the vet that you can plug in at night to reduce stress so your animals relax. It's not a sedative or a drug just some type of aromatherapy. or you could ask your vet about benadryl.

  5. My kitty did that when she got spayed too. They do it for a while, but it'll go away.

    Good luck=)

  6. oh, dear.  You have forgotten the most important thing to a cat isn't her toys, food or cat buddy - it's you!  Spend some time every morning and evening playing with Twinkles & Clara, and they will be happily exhausted, and go to take their cat naps . . . .
