i have windows XP home and a few months ago i installed a copy of Windows VISTA on my computer so that i would have the option, when booting up, of choosing which system i wanted to use.

which i no longer want to have that option when i boot up,

i just want my computer to start up as windows XP without

giving me the option to choose VISTA. i went into my BOOT.ini

file and changed it to this :

[Boot Loader]

Timeout=5

Default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)

partition(1)\WINDOWS

but it did not help, when booting up im still given the option.

how can i stop this ?
